Basics

  • The Blue Greenie Remake Shop sells upcycled products and also offers custom upcycling.

    The Remake Shop also accepts donations and gives these donations to artists and designers who remake them in-house to sell in the shop.

  • We are open Monday-Saturday from 11-7.

Creators

  • Participants must apply for the Remake Program and submit an example of their work. Once they are approved they will be able to schedule an appointment in the Remake Shop or submit items for the boutique. APPLY NOW

  • No, it is free to join and use the machines and materials in the shop.

  • Creators in the shop will have access to donated materials including clothing, scraps, trims, buttons and other notions. There are two sewing machines, a serger and a Cricut machine available.

  • You can choose to make your own design or to be given a project by Blue Greenie to complete. The comission is the same (50%) on all items you create in the shop.

  • Yes, you can also create jewelry, home goods and even art or sculptures. All items made in the shop, however, must be remade from pre-existing materials.

  • Yes, you can apply to create custom pieces for customers.

  • No, the products you make in the shop will belong to and will be sold in the Remake Shop. You will get commission when/if the item sells. If we decide to no longer sell the item or if the shop closes the item will be given to the designer.

  • All makers will get 50% of whatever the item sells for in the shop and will be paid weekly.

  • Yes, you can bring in materials both to donate or to use in your projects. Note: items made in the shop will belong to the shop regardless of how much of your own material is used in the product.

  • The Blue Greenie Remake Shop will price all items made in the store. Note that items may sell for less than initially priced due to mark downs. Note that people who donate items recieve a 10% discount on the day they donate but this discount is covered by the Remake Shop and not the designers.

  • When you are first accepted in the program you will be able to schedule only one session in the Remake Shop to see if we are a good fit for each other. If we are then you will have full access to the schedule. The availability of spaces, however, will be determined by how many people are booking. The Remake Shop also reserves the right to remove anyone for any reason from the program.

  • You can submit pre-made items to sell in our boutique area via your artist account.

Customers

  • The Blue Greenie Remake Shop is pleased to offer customers custom upcycling. You may bring in your own ideas or you can look through our lookbook for inspiration. Price will depend on may factors including, difficulty and whether you will be supplying your own materials or not.

    You will need to leave a 50% deposit before we begin working on your project.

    We may take up to two weeks to finish and we will allow at least one alteration or change .

  • We accept clean donations of clothing, materials, notions and jewelry. You will receive a 10% discount on any items you purchase in the shop on the day you donate.

  • Due to the nature of the shop we do not accept returns or exchanges. Please be sure you want any item before purchasing.
