BLUE GREENIE REMAKE SHOP

ARTIST PARTICIPATION AGREEMENT

This Agreement is entered into between Blue Greenie Remake Shop ("Blue Greenie") and the artist ("Creator").

1. Program Overview

The Blue Greenie Remake Shop sells upcycled products and offers custom upcycling. The shop accepts donated materials and provides these to artists and designers who remake them in-house for sale. Participation in the Remake Program is free of charge.

2. Application & Approval

Participation in the Remake Program requires an approved application and submission of a work sample.

Upon initial acceptance into the program, the Creator will be permitted to schedule one (1) session in the Remake Shop to determine whether the arrangement is a good fit for both parties. If the trial session is successful, the Creator will receive full access to the booking schedule and will also be able to submit items for review to sell in the boutique area.

Ongoing session availability is subject to demand. Blue Greenie reserves the right to adjust scheduling access at any time.

3. Equipment & Materials

Creators will have access to donated materials including clothing, scraps, trims, buttons, and other notions. Available equipment includes sewing machines, a serger, pattern projector, and a Cricut machine. There is no charge to use the shop's equipment or materials however creators must have experience in the machines they wish to use.

Creators may bring their own materials to use or to donate. Note: any item made in the shop becomes the property of Blue Greenie regardless of whether the Creator's own materials were used.

4. Ownership of Work

All items created in the Remake Shop belong to and will be sold by Blue Greenie. The Creator does not retain ownership of any item made in the shop, regardless of the source of materials used. Creators with items in the boutique that were brought in by the creators own their items and may remove them at any time.

If Blue Greenie decides to discontinue selling an item, or if the shop closes, the item will be returned to the Creator.

5. Commission & Payment

Creators earn a 50% commission on the final sale price of each item sold, whether the Creator chose their own design or completed a project assigned by Blue Greenie. Boutique items brought in by the creator also earn 50% commission. Commissions are paid weekly.

Blue Greenie prices all items that are created in the shop. Items may be marked down from their original price if they do not sell after a period of time. The 10% donor discount offered to customers on donation day is covered by Blue Greenie and does not reduce the Creator's commission.

6. Boutique Submissions

Creators may submit pre-made items for sale in the boutique area via their artist account. Boutique submissions are subject to approval at Blue Greenie's discretion.

7. Custom Pieces

Some creators may be allowed to offer custom upcycling pieces for customers. Custom project availability is subject to approval by Blue Greenie.

8. Conduct & Standards

Creators are expected to treat staff, customers, and fellow participants with respect at all times. Creators are responsible for leaving their workspace clean and returning equipment and materials after each session.

10. Termination

Blue Greenie reserves the right to remove any Creator from the program at any time and for any reason. Any items made in the remake shop will continue to be available in the shop and creators will be paid weekly for any sales. Products will only be given to creators in the event of the shop closing or Blue Greenie no longer wishes to sell the products. Boutique items that have not been created in the shop will be returned to creators.

Acknowledgment

By scheduling an appointment or submitting an item for the boutique you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Agreement.
